This is just a quick note that the update is now available on Installer. This should fix the three problems I discussed in my previous blog post.
If you have trouble installing because getting an error dialog “Error: Package download failed!” then PLEASE WAIT SOME TIME !!!! You can read about the reasons here: http://blog.psmxy.org/2008/02/02/most-pkg-downloads-are-failing/.
IMPORTANT: If you are not running the latest Installer.app v3.0 (no beta any more!) then please DO UPDATE NOW. You can read about the importance of this here: http://blog.psmxy.org/2008/02/02/upgrade-to-installerapp-30/.

Hmm.. bei mir überhaupt kein Problem. Hast du ein iPhone oder einen iPod, welche Firmware? Reproduzierbar?
Vielen Dank für das Update. Ich hoffe die kriegen das Serverproblem bald in den Griff. Ich kanns kaum erwarten die Applikation endlich mal in Aktion zu sehen (war bisher mit 1.1.3 vom Black-Screen-Problem betroffen).

- dzt hab ich running firmware 1.1.2 ( auf ursprgl. 1.1.1 OOTB), absichtl NICHT auf 1.1.3 upgedatet – want to wait .. – Installer updates gemacht , (inkl hte v Feb3)
- bekomme für Dein letztes update – auf 0.2.1 – beim downld einen error (“firmware”1.1.3 required) – schade ..
warum läuft’s jetzt nimmer auf 1.1.2 ??

@Heinz: es läuft auf 1.1.2. Der Download funktioniert nicht aufgrund der ernormen Serverlast auf STE’s Repository (siehe Links oben da gibts Erklärungen). Einfach Geduld und mit großem Abstand mal wieder versuchen. Ich hab selbst auch 24h gebraucht bis ich mein eigenes Update hatte

Nur noch eins: suchen geht bei mir nur ganz schlecht, kommt meist nur 1 Treffer, meist aber gar nix. Ist das ein Fehler oder suche ich zu spezifisch?

@Christian: Das ist meine eigene Datenbank die ich mit der 0.2.0 gestartet habe, und die hat erst so 350 Einträge. Bin noch auf der Suche nach einer großen Webcam Datenbank welche ich einbinden kann. Ist also eher normal grad dass du mit einer gezielten Suche eher wenig findest.

Hi Andreas, just loved your app. Got a few things to ask altough…
I am developing(kind of) an app that uses the same structure of Locations(i mean – button bars/ show view/ add stuff / etc ) but I can’t build with my current toolchain, what version do you used ?
Also, I think I must patch my headers in order to work. Do U know how can I do that ?
One last thing, I want to donate, but paypal doesn’t accept my credit card (I’m from Brazil), is there any other way?

Thanks Andreas… I’ve figured out how to build. I’ve changed some headers and a little bit of code. I’m on Tiger by the way, I think that’s the problem, but anyway, solved.
