A big step forward is done, an internal Beta version of Locations is done! This will still take some weeks I suppose before I will submit it to the AppStore.

My girlfriend has been waiting for this App to come out for 2.0 for a long time now. She will not upgrade till it is available. HURRY PLEASE!

There will be a free version probably coming out first… more when details are set. Non-free version is supposed to be cheap!

If you want some beta testers, I’ll put my name on the list! Locations runs perfect on 1.1.x and i was really doubting about upgrading to 2.0 only because of one application:

@Tjarko: There will be a free version. The one being in beta is actually the free one! I cannot say how much longer it will take, since I want to do it right and not just throw something on the market not worth it. Will keep everybody updated.

I just wanted to say that I am VERY excited for this app to be updated again. This was my favorite app on the iPhone. I would use it all the time in the winter to see the conditions on the mountain before I would go up snowboarding because the snow phones were unreliable because they never update them. I will defenitly be buying your app from the AppStore!
